Infrastructure investor Infratil is making a plan to make an offer to the public. It is planned that the offer would be of five-year bonds.
Infratil said assumed that the people who want this offer, neither money is required at this time and nor applications for the bonds will be accepted. Only the subscriber has to receive a simplified admission prospectus.
Under Infratil's infrastructure bond programme a new series will be composed by the bond and no different terms will be there, it will be issued on similar terms to the existing bond series.
The incomes from it can be used for different reasons such as general corporate purposes; it can also include repayment of debt and increase the maturity profile of total debt facilities.
It seems that the Infrastructure Bonds will to have a validity of bonds of approximately five years. Infratil informed that it is expected that the offer is likely to consist of two tranches.
In the first tranche the offer will be given to all the investors who are in New Zealand. Under the second tranche, this offer would be given to the existing holders of the Infrastructure Bonds after their maturing date i. e. 15 May 2011.
