Jessie Lust is a lucky man and there is no denying the fact as he is one of those people, whose life got saved because he attended a lecture on melanoma. It was because of his lesson on melanoma in his nursing class, which led Jessie to suspect that the mole on his arm was more likely a melanoma mole.

The suspicion of Jessie ended up him visiting a GP to get the mole checked, during the visit though, the doctor was a little skeptical about the mole. However, after a little contemplation to be on the safer side, the GP decided to remove the mole.

Following the removal of the mole, a test was conducted, which reached the conclusion that the mole in fact was cancerous and luckily for Jessie was in its first stage. Mr. Lust underwent further surgery to remove any traces of cancerous cells, in order to render him absolutely free of cancer.

Mr. Lust would be sporting a large scar on his left arm, when he would be addressing people regarding his story during the SunSmart Week from November 14-20. While talking about his situation, Mr. Lust announced that he considered himself lucky, as he was able to survive a potentially fatal condition.
