During a recently held event by the Health Insurance Awards 2010 two companies, Aviva and PruHealth together took away three awards each.

These two were the two main insurance companies which were recognized with awards on the event's night.

The event was hosted by comedian Patrick Kielty at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London and was organized by the Health Insurance and Protection magazine which witnessed both the companies making their way to grab three awards each.

The best individual private medical insurance product was taken away by PruHealth and Aviva was honoured for an equal award in the group category and was later also given the award for being the health insurance company of the year.

"Once again the night was testament to the resilience of the industry, which has weathered 12 months of economic uncertainty in remarkably good shape," said the organizers in a statement.

Pruhealth is a well known company which offers insurance policies covering all the stages of cancer treatment and care and has a wide range of offers which can suit every person and their budgets.
