The Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer Fundraiser

Jurassic-ParkThe main attraction at the June 10-scheduled fundraiser, being hosted by the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer charity, is the screening of Jurassic Park – the movie about a rich man creating a theme park for dinosaurs to roam around in supposedly secure enclosures!

The proceeds from the sale of the tickets – each of which is priced at $12 for admission to the movie, as well as a drink and some scrumptiously addictive movie popcorn – will be forwarded to the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer charity, which typically brings cyclists together for raising funds and creating public awareness, with the aim of fighting cancer.

The Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer Fundraiser – scheduled for June 10, 7 pm, at Denman Cinemas – boasts the participation of cyclists in a noble cause which is close to their hearts and which they back unconditionally.

Meanwhile, the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer event at the quiet countryside of Grimsby and Lincoln is also coming up on June 11-12, and the event will witness thousands of cyclists winding their way through west Niagara.

During the course of the two-day event which will essentially help raise funds and awareness for The Princess Margaret Hospital, cyclists from all over will be riding 200 km, or 200 miles, from Toronto to Niagara Falls.

The support for the charity has been ‘great’; with some cancer survivors expected at the venue, either riding alongside the other participants or cheering them all along the route!
